As Bones (Dr. McCoy - Star Trek) would have said, "I'm a Doctor, Jim, not a web master".  Well.... I'm just an old country woodworker, and not a web master either, and certainly not a banker.  If you'd enjoy owning some of my work, or giving some as a gift, I'm afraid you'll need to do just a bit more than make a few mouse clicks.

Ordering Process:

1) Send me an email (paul@thefeelofwood.com) or call me (541-915-3515) indicating the Wood ID's of the piece(s) you're interested in purchasing.  PLEASE include the zip code of the address you'll wish to have it shipped to so I can provide you with an estimate of the shipping costs.
2) Upon receipt of your email or phone call indicating your wish to purchase, I'll put a hold on the piece(s) for you.  The web site will show it as "Sale Pending - Reserved", for one week.  When I receive payment, I'll change the posting to "SOLD".  If I don't receive payment within a week, I'll change the web site posting back to "Available for Purchase", so I guess you won't want to procrastinate too long in sending that check !!!
I will ship your purchase as soon as payment clears.
OR
3) You may visit one of the fine Art Galleries where my work is on display, and purchase there.  See the tab "On Display" on this website for details.

Payment:
I will accept personal checks, bank checks, money orders, and yes, even cash (though I wouldn't suggest mailing it).  I will wait until your payment "clears" customary banking systems, and then ship your purchase.   I am not accepting credit cards, paybuds, or any other new fangled electronic means of payments at this time, nor am I likely to until those kids figure out how to make it safe for everyone.  Oh... and there's NO Sales Tax in Oregon......

More about Shipping:  Nobody likes to pay for shipping, including me, and I enjoy having to wrap and box stuff up for shipping almost as much.  Yet unless you want to come-and-get-it yourself, in your car or truck (which by the way I welcome - see Tree Memories), then I'll need to ship it to you, and yes, someone will have to pay for the box, wrapping protection, tape, insurance, and postage....   and it's not going to be me.  Then again, since I'm not in the shipping business, I have no interest in trying to make money off you by artificially inflating those costs.  Whatever it cost me, is all you'll pay (and I'll throw in my time for free since you're buying my work).   I WILL insure All purchases for everyone's protection - no option here.  If the item(s) ends up being around or under 5 lbs, I'll probably just ship it good old US Mail Priority.  Anything larger will go UPS to save money.  If you have a preferred method of shipping, just let me know and I'll make a reasonable effort to comply.  I will NOT ship to PO Boxes.

Questions? Concerns? Complaints? - email me... write me... or call me.  I'll be happy to talk with you.
